SURAH AL-FAJR AYAH 16
1. What about when blessings are taken away? Is Allah humiliating us?
2. What is our response when things are taken away from us?
1. When something is taken away from us, say: Innalillahi wainna ilaihi roji’un.
2. When something is not in our favour, say: Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal.
Ummu Salamah RA said that she heard the prophet PBUH said:
“If any Muslim who suffers some calamity says, what Allah has commanded him," We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return; O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it," Allah will give him something better than it in exchange.”
Sahih Muslim (918)
When something happened that pleased him, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: Praise is to Allah Who by His blessings all good things are perfected.
And if something happened that displeased him, he used to say: Praise is to Allah in all circumstances.
